STEERING BOSSES: VW T2 & T25 VAN: Be aware of cross over years where many bosses change. T2 early bay pre 71 has a large 22mm spline and no entry chamfer before the spline Eg 203 boss. The later bay 72 on and early T25 has a smaller spline with small 5mm entry chamfer before the spline EG our 070 or 045 boss. Often there is a gap between the horn ring and the new boss. THE STEERING COLUMN ON THE BAY AND T25 can be adjusted up or down. Easily rectified. VW T4 VAN: There is the early unto 8/95 van, most of these will have the early 352 style boss. This has a small chamfer 5mm long before the spline. The later boss 96 on is the 353 series. This latter boss has a very long entry shammer 20mm long before the spline. NOTE: Most of our 'Sports bosses' for the T4 require you to fit the replaceable horn slip ring from your original wheel to our new boss. This is becoming standard practice and is a simple job. This will make the boss fully operational. Indicator return: many of our bosses require the enclosed roll pin to be fitted into the hole provided to return the indicator. Full functionality is expected with all our bosses. SPORTS or CLASSIC: There are basically two styles of wheel the 'Sports' with a small 72mm dia between fixing holes or the larger 'Classic' 101mm across fixing holes. We sell both. Dont fit replacement wheels to airbag vehicles!
