What do I do if my order has not arrived?
Please only contact us if 12 working days (25 working days for international
delivery) have passed from the dispatch date and the following procedure has
Items can be delayed in the postal system for various reasons, especially before
and after a holiday period, such as Christmas and bank holidays. Adverse
weather and postal strikes also affect deliveries. These influences are
something we cannot control. The following is in place to protect you as our
customer and ourselves against damages, loss and theft.
1. Some items are too big to
fit through a letterbox, while your Local Postal Company should leave a “sorry
we missed you” card, but sometimes not all of them do. Please check with your
neighbour and then contact your Local Postal Company Delivery Office in case
the item is waiting for you.
2. Double check the address
you provided for the order to be dispatched too. If it is incorrect please
contact the address shown.
3. Ask anyone else (usually
your neighbours) who could have taken the delivery at the delivery address if
they have a parcel for you.
4. Occasionally items are
misplaced at your Local Postal Company delivery offices. Ask your Post Person
to check for your parcel. We often have parcels returned stating “NOT called
for” despite customers contacting your Local Postal Company delivery office.
Contact Local Postal Company delivery office from time to times as sometimes
items arrive there after the first check is made.
5. If previous steps have
been taken, and you have still not received your item after 12 working days (25
working days for international delivery) please contact us. Please NOTE: Royal
Mail do not class as lost package in their system until 12 working days have
passed for UK
delivery & 25 working days for European delivery.
6. We will require you to
complete and return a “lost item claim form”. We will need this back to start
the process for a replacement or refund for the order. These forms are sent to
Royal Mail. They are added to a file to monitor loss areas and fraudulent
claims to addresses. If you do not sign the form we will still inform Royal
mail of the claim.
7. Opening a eBay case without waiting 12 working days
or following the procedure does not speed up the delivery issue. It may delay
things further. Please note once the order has been dispatched it is out of our
direct control and we have no influence over the delivery period. We have these
procedures in place to help our customers, ourselves and the eBay community.
